So happy you did not sell Pumper and that you are reunited back home. I am pleased to say I made it back to the USA two weeks ago and had a happy reunion with my VW bus near Los Angeles. So happy to be away from all that cold wet British weather. Maybe one day we’ll meet this side of the Atlantic Ocean. I’m going to have a go at making a new life in California. Please keep in touch though my blog also. Very best wishes to you both and good health from now on.

bien muy bien todo tiene un principio y un fin me parece que este es el fin de viajar me alegra mucho que esten bien que decidan regresar a su residencia. En mi corazon ustedes tienen un lugar muy especial, son una inspiracion para mi vida el saver que los sueños se pueden llegar a cumplir, que increible casi 4 años de viaje 30 paises y lo mejor es que conservan a PUMPER biiiiiiiieeen!!!! asi se hace. Desde Costa Rica un fuerte abrazo de un bombero pero sobre todo de un amigo

yea i agree its a neat strong old westfalia thats done some massive tire prints of artful travel ..cradled you two in its cramped belly ..an spit you out into a stange an dirty world of odd adventures ..a magnet of the curious ..friendly types of nostalgic romance ..yes keep it ..an milk the last miles out of every bolt an bearing..happy end of the trails of trails …gm

I met you two on the beach in Ecuador in 2011 and have been following your travel blog since then. I can’t believe you ended up traveling for around 3 years!! I so enjoyed reading about your adventures and I have to say, this blog stirred up some emotion in me reading that this trip has come to it’s end.

I returned to my home in the States after Ecuador, but next month will head to Europe for a four-month tour of Belgium, France, Germany, Portugal, and Morocco.

You two are an inspiration to travel-lovers everywhere. Thank you for sharing your stories.

LOVING all the photos of Pumper!! I’m so so happy that Pumper is on the way to be reunited with you both!! I hope you manage to make some local trips around your Ottawa base to provide fodder for new blog posts. I’ll certainly miss the stories and photos from your travels otherwise!
